Chicken of the Woods Fairies

Handmade ceramic figurines modeled after chicken of the woods (Laetiporus sulphureus). This species is a mushroom forager's jackpot -- often growing in large supply and offering a meaty texture and taste. Unlike other edible mushrooms, which tend to blend into their surroundings, the chicken of the woods seems to excitedly beckon foragers with its alluring orange and yellow coloring.
